The children, head teacher, staff and governors of Corby Glen Community Primary School are seeking to appoint an excellent teaching assistant to join our supportive, happy and enthusiastic team in moving our school forward. We are looking for someone who can challenge and inspire children to be the best they can be; someone who is able to demonstrate excellent practice and has high expectations.
We are seeking an individual who:
preferably hold an NVQ2 certificate or above and have had experience of working with children across the primary age range
have a good knowledge of strategies to employ to support children of varying needs and abilities
be calm, patient and show empathy in challenging situations
has highly effective communication skills with children, parents, colleagues and governors
will be dedicated to school improvement and raising standards for all
has high expectations of all our children
thrives on working within a team
is committed to be involved in the wider life of our village school
