Corby Glen Community Primary School

Welcome

Headteacher's Welcome

It gives me great pleasure  to welcome you to the Corby Glen Community Primary School website. Established in 1878, we are a village school which is very much at the heart of our community. We pride ourselves in our caring and nurturing family environment and our focus on developing your child as the individual they are. Working together with parents and families to ensure your child has a successful start to their education in primary school, is of the greatest importance to us. We endeavour to provide the widest possible opportunities for your child whilst they are in our care - engaging them in learning that excites and challenges them and enables them to reach their potential - academically, socially and physically. We encourage every child to develop the confidence and positive self-image to become an engaged and successful learner and an active and thoughtful member of our school community.

As a small village school, we value the personal relationships that we are able to form with your child and with our families. Our school is made up of four classes - all of which have under 25 pupils. This enables us to really get to know your child - to know what motivates them, what inspires them and what support they may need to achieve their potential. I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Corby Glen Community Primary School and I would like to extend a welcome to all new parents and children to the school. If you are considering a place at our school - either as a new Reception start in September or as a mid-year admission in another year group - please contact us and I will be happy to give you a tour of our school and show you what Corby Glen Community Primary School can offer your child,

I hope you find some useful information about our school on the additional pages of our website ,
