We are delighted to have received this donation from Allison Homes. As the dark evenings will soon be upon us these bag tags will be very useful, and the children can’t wait to clip them onto their own bags.
It’s important to us that our pupils stay safe on their journeys to and from school, and we always jump at any opportunity to encourage our children and parents to walk to school, instead of drive. Thank you to Allison Homes for helping keep our pupils safe.
Thank you to our wonderful PTA and all the volunteers who organised the school Halloween disco.
We’ve had a super start to our Diwali Day. Namaste Sunita

Many thanks to Bobby and Peter Burrow from POSH for visiting in our school. We had a great time in assembly and won free tickets to both a mens and a womens game.
Many thanks to the Charles Read school for delivering a Hello Yellow assembly to our school. A great start to our hello Yellow day. The children then completed a range of activities including planting daffodils, taking part in a yoga session and designing our own worry balls.
This week, as part of the curriculum, the children have taken part in two workshops: Being Safe Online and Substance Awareness. They learned about how to stay safe when using the internet, using social media in the future (13+) and what is appropriate to share with others. When learning about substance misuse, the children discussed legal and illegal substances such as caffeine, alcohol and Nitrous Oxide (commonly known as laughing gas). They had some very mature conversations making all of the adults very proud.
The yr3s and 4s had a fantastic time at Kesteven rugby club learning the skills of rugby through a variety of games and drills. They finished the afternoon off playing a tag rugby match.
This week is Dyslexia Awareness Week which takes place between 03-09 October 2022. The theme this year 'Breaking through barriers' links with some of the work we are doing in school to overcome our obstacles, embrace our talents and be provided with the skills and tools so everyone can be a successful learner.
For further help with dyslexia follow the link below. We will also be updating further support on our school website. https://www.bdadyslexia.org.uk/.../dyslexia-awareness....
