• Lincolnshire Show Ground Construction day 2023

  The children in Year 5/6 had the opportunity to go to the Lincolnshire show ground to find out about all areas of construction. The children split into groups and were able to explore different skills including, digging, plumbing, design and construct, joinery and electrical work. This was all part of the schools focus this year on developing aspirations for careers.

  

• Macmillan coffee morning 2023

  Wow what a fantastic turn out for our community coffee morning led by our Year 6 children. The children insisted this year they would like to offer table service meeting and greeting our community guests, taking orders and making the tea and coffee. A group of children took charge of food hygiene and cake slicing and then all the students supported clearing and washing up. All great life skills to learn.

  We also managed to fundraise £127.50 for our local Macmillan nurses, thank you to everyone who contributed.
