Corby Glen Community Primary School
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We are incredibly proud of all of our athletes this week. They have demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, resilience and support for their Corby Glen team. We had a few first, second and third places in individual events, and they worked superbly as a team in the relays.
Thank you to everyone that attended our Christingle service this afternoon, and to those that supported the children to make the fabulous christingles that lit up St John’s church. We are immensely proud of all of the children and our super year 6s, who delivered the readings with passion and empathy.
Well done to our year 5, 6 badminton team who took part in a festival at KGGS. They had the opportunity to play a range of games to improve their overall technique. Two of the children from our school were selected to demonstrate their fantastic rallying skills. They represented themselves and the school superbly and good fun was had by all.
We are excited to announce we have been awarded the 'Kind School' award.
This award highlights our school is committed to a culture of kindness in the classroom: including both kindness to ourselves and to others.
Kind Schools understand that kindness doesn’t happen in isolation, but ripples out of the classroom into homes, the local community and ultimately the world!
Kind Schools see kindness not just as single acts, but as an attitude and approach to life that threads through everything we do and every interaction we have.
Kind Schools understand the important role kindness plays in boosting children’s mental and physical health.
And finally….Kind Schools believe that ‘Kind’ is the most important thing a person can be.
